The Los Angeles Lakers have surprisingly not made a move yet to solve their problems at the point guard position, and general manager Mitch Kupchak would be smart to make a trade sooner rather than later.

The best teams in the Western Conference have athletic point guards who dominate in transition, and with a 37-year-old Fisher starting at point guard, the Lakers don’t have the speed necessary to contain the likes of Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook and Tony Parker.
